Day 6, second try

Day six was our last day of riding. We rode 40 miles around both sides of the Wachau Valley along the Danube. The hills are covered with terraced vineyards. Castles and cathedrals everywhere. A lot of history and beautiful scenery.
We crossed via ferry at Durnstein. The castle on the hill once held Richard the Lionhearted, captured and ransomed on his way home from the Crusades.

Day 2

We did a 26 mile loop, ate at home of Czech family, visited Rosemberg Castle, very hilly today, well worth the effort. The countryside is amazing.
